The work portrays a late-19th- or early-20th-century building at 32 Serdika Street in central Sofia, captured at a critical moment in its survival. Reportedly divided between private and public ownership, the building has been left vulnerable to prolonged neglect as its richly detailed façade continues to deteriorate.

The composition brings together two distinct visual languages. Three photographs are assembled into a subjective photographic elevation, not as an exact architectural survey, but as an image shaped by the position and perception of the photographer. Air-conditioning units, cables, streetlights and other later additions are isolated to reveal the many layers of occupation imposed upon the original façade.

Over this photographic structure, the drawing traces cracks, shadows, exposed materials, glass, steel and architectural ornament. These imperfections become the main subject of the work, transforming the façade into a record of conflict, adaptation and passing time.
